I am a fully qualified registered naturopathic nutritional therapist from the College of Naturopathic Medicine.
Dip NT, BA (Hons), CNHC, BANT, ANP, FCI, FTA, CSM
After starting my professional life in the food and drink sector and running my own business for 7 years, I decided to rethink my working life when I had children. Motivated by a growing interest in health and wellbeing, in 2005 I qualified as a personal trainer, nutritionist and sports injury masseuse. I really enjoyed helping people stay fit and healthy, and transforming their bodies. However, my interest went beyond this – I wanted to be able to offer a holistic, natural approach to helping people live their best and healthiest lives.
I trained at the renowned College of Naturopathic Medicine in London where my interest then became my passion.
After having suffered with SIBO (Small intestine bacterial overgrowth) myself following an operation for a sports injury, I used my own personal journey to develop an expertise in this area.
Drawing on the healing power of food and herbs, I employ a functional medicine approach to treat each person as an individual and find the root cause to their symptoms. My overriding goal is to help prevent disease and support people who have been unsuccessful or uninspired with prescriptive drugs, which treat the symptom and not the cause.
I am passionate about helping others find their healthy balance, not only through good nutrition and exercise, but lifestyle too.
My belief in what I do has been naturally mirrored in my hobbies; in my spare time I enjoy cooking healthy meals for my family, exercising regularly and playing golf, travel and spending time with my friends.
